This gateway sends buyers to PicPay, where they pay in the PicPay app with their wallet balance or a card saved there. PicPay only works on stores whose currency is BRL. Gamecart sets the payment notification URL on each order, so there is nothing to configure for notifications in PicPay.

Get your credentials

  1. Sign in to the PicPay business panel (PicPay Empresas).
  2. Open Integrações and select Carteira Picpay - Ecommerce.
  3. Click Gerar credenciais.
  4. Copy the client_id, the client_secret, and the x-seller-token. PicPay shows the client secret only once, so keep it until you paste it in Gamecart.

Add it in Gamecart

  1. Open Settings > Gateways and click Add gateway.
  2. Click Add on PicPay.
  3. Paste the client_id in Client ID, the client_secret in Client secret, and the x-seller-token in Seller token.
  4. Click Save Configuration.
  5. Turn on the PicPay switch in the gateway list when you are ready to take payments.

What buyers see

When a buyer picks PicPay, the checkout asks for their CPF, because PicPay requires it for the payment. Gamecart doesn’t store the CPF. After the buyer pays in the PicPay app, PicPay notifies Gamecart and the order status updates on its own.

Test the integration

PicPay has no test environment, so this gateway has no Sandbox mode. To check the setup, make a small real purchase in your store and refund it in the PicPay panel.

Refund payments in the PicPay panel. Gamecart receives the refund from PicPay and updates the order.
