RCON lets Gamecart deliver Minecraft commands directly to a compatible server. It also supports compatible Source or Minecraft targets in the Other game category. Gamecart executes RCON itself. You do not install a polling executor or use a server token for this delivery method.

Before you begin

Enable RCON on the target server before you begin. You also need its public DNS hostname or IP address, RCON port, and RCON password. Limit public access to the RCON service that Gamecart needs. If your deployment allows it, restrict firewall access to the required source. Keep unrelated administration services off the public internet.
RCON is not a universal delivery method. Do not use it for Hytale or FiveM. Use the matching Gamecart executor for those games.

Create the RCON server integration

  1. In the dashboard, open Integrations > Servers.
  2. Select Create server.
  3. Give the integration a recognizable name and choose RCON as the delivery type.
  4. Enter the public RCON host. Use a DNS hostname or IP address that Gamecart can reach.
  5. Enter the RCON port. The dashboard accepts ports from 1 through 65535.
  6. Enter the RCON password and save the integration.

Select RCON, then enter the public connection details supplied by your server host.

RCON server integrations do not use a server token. Do not copy a token from another server integration into this form.

Verify the connection details

After saving, return to Integrations > Servers. The list shows the configured host and port and whether the integration has a password. It never displays the RCON password. Create a controlled product command and place a controlled order. Check the command status in the dashboard and confirm the result on the game server. If a command needs attention, confirm whether it ran on the server before you resend it. A resend can repeat fulfillment when the earlier result was not confirmed.

Troubleshoot a failed delivery

Check that RCON is enabled, the public host and port are correct, and the firewall permits the connection. Then update the server integration if needed and run another controlled test. Keep the RCON password private. Do not include it in screenshots, logs, repositories, or support messages.
